About

Who are we?

Rooted in Family, Grounded in Excellence

Hello, and welcome to DeNardo Heating & Cooling! This company is truly a family affair. I’m Gaetano “Guy” DeNardo. My wife, Nicole, and I own and operate the business and our daughter also works here.

My father was in construction and owned many businesses, from plastering to excavation to multifamily real estate. When I was just a kid, he taught me how to work with my hands and gave me a thorough understanding of building construction.

I originally went to school to be an electrician. In 2003, while waiting for a job in that field, I started working in HVAC and immediately fell in love with the way this industry was evolving and innovating.

As I installed and serviced boilers, furnaces, mini split heat pumps, conventional heat pumps, and air conditioners, I was constantly learning new things and striving to keep up with system and product changes.

Nicole and I started this business in 2014. We bought our first van by remodeling a used trailer at a campground. We had worked together all summer, remodeling the trailer and bringing it back to its original glory. Then we sold it and started our company. Ever since then, I’ve focused on education and training for high-efficiency systems like heat pumps and have continued my education to stay abreast of the rapidly evolving industry. I pride myself on my troubleshooting skills as well as my ability to design whole-house systems.

Our team

Let me introduce you to the rest of the team

Nicole DeNardo

Office Manager/Advertising/Bookkeeper, and everything else

Nicole is the real reason we are here today. When we started dating, I got a job with her uncle, who had his own heating company, and that’s where it all started. Nicole’s family has been in the oil and heating industry for four generations, owning an oil delivery company and burner service. When she was a little girl, she used to go with her Grampy on emergency service calls to hold the flashlight for him. So, needless to say, Nicole understands heating. This has helped her to excel as the person who answers the phones, does all the paperwork, and handles countless other tasks. She is a vital member of the team, the one who allows our world to go around.

Kevin Farnsworth

Kevin began with us in 2015, worked with us for a year, and then decided he wanted to go back to doing carpentry, his occupation before he joined us. After a year, he decided he wanted to come back, and he’s been with us ever since. Kevin’s construction background brings him an added advantage. Because he understands building construction, he has had a leg up in this field from Day 1. Kevin is a licensed oil burner tech who was schooled at Peterson School in Woburn. He is methodical, extremely thorough, and very reliable. Kevin does most of our preventive maintenance and has a keen eye for pointing out things that can help us avoid future issues. He is factory trained by Fujitsu and many others.

Constantine Haralabatos

Constantine started with us 2 years ago, as green as they come. Since he had never worked with his hands before, it was a struggle in the beginning. Constantine has made tremendous progress since then. He is now a licensed oil burner technician who has attended Peterson school as well. He is also working on factory trainings and has completed some. Constantine is an extremely hard worker, very reliable, and always willing to lend a helping hand. Sometimes, though, he takes things a bit too literally. When asked to run to the truck, he actually runs.

How We Work

All our work comes with a one-year, 100% satisfaction guarantee for both parts and labor. We’ll do whatever it takes to make sure you’re delighted with the way your project turned out.

Here’s what you can expect when you call us for service:

Step 1:

We come out to your house for a free in-home consultation. We assess the situation and give recommendations for systems, taking into consideration all your wants and needs as well as the aesthetics of the system. We inform you about rebate options if any are available for your type of installation.

Step 2:

We design the system and provide a free quote with options for different systems that could meet your home’s needs.

Step 3:

If you agree to what we propose, we schedule the job. On the day we start work, we require a deposit.

Step 4:

Once the job is complete, we help you with any rebate paperwork and forward it to streamline the process for you. Check out our Rebates page to learn more.

We also offer financing in two ways. One, of course, is through the Mass Save program that offers a 7-year, zero-interest loan for all heat pump installs. If for any reason that option is not available, we also partner with Synchrony Bank to offer several different finance options.
